An estimate by PwC suggests that by 2030, AI will contribute as much as $15.7 trillion to the global economy.

Although artificial intelligence (AI) has long been used in business settings, only recently have we seen a real uptick in its popularity. AI is revolutionizing the business world in many ways, from customer service chatbots to decision-making machine learning programs. Specifically, 42% of CEOs said they expect AI to be extremely important to their company within the next two years, according to a survey conducted by Deloitte.

The growing appetite for personalized experiences is also fueling the development of AI in the workplace. Chatbots and other AI-enabled virtual assistants can give clients the individualized guidance and assistance they need. The result may be happier and more loyal customers.

Automation vs. Augmentation
